Prayer for the Grace of God
Asking for the strength that only grace supplies
This prayer asks simply and directly for God's grace, the free gift of divine help that Catholic teaching holds is needed for every good and lasting work, especially where our own effort alone falls short.
Heavenly Father, source of every grace, I come before you empty-handed, asking for the grace I cannot give myself. Strengthen what is weak in me, heal what is wounded, and supply what is lacking, that I may do your will and grow each day closer to you. Amen.
