Act of Consecration to Mary

Entrusting one's whole life to Mary's care

An act of consecration to Mary is a personal offering of one's whole life into her keeping, a devotion with deep roots in Catholic spirituality, made popular in its developed form by Saint Louis de Montfort and prayed by many since in a simpler daily version.

O Virgin Mary, Mother of God and my Mother, I consecrate to you this day my whole life: my thoughts, my words, my actions, my joys, and my sufferings. Take me under your motherly care, and lead me ever closer to your Son, Jesus, that I may live entirely for Him through you. Amen.
