Prayer for One Day at a Time
A short morning prayer for anyone in recovery
1 min read
Recovery is often described as a day-by-day process rather than a single victory. This short prayer is meant to be prayed each morning as a renewal of commitment.
Lord, today I ask only for today. Give me the strength to make it through these next twenty-four hours whole and honest. Keep me close to you, and close to the people helping me stay on this path. Tomorrow can wait. Help me just with today. Amen.
