Placing a child under God's watchful protection
Every parent knows the particular worry of a child out of sight — at school, out with friends, or simply asleep down the hall. This prayer places that child under God's care.
Lord, watch over my child today. Guard them from harm I cannot prevent, guide their choices when I am not there to guide them myself, and surround them with people who will look out for their good. Give me the grace to trust you with the safety I cannot fully control. Amen.
