A rift between friends can be as painful as any other loss. This prayer asks for the humility and courage needed to work toward reconciliation.
Lord, this friendship is broken, and I don't know if it can be repaired, but I want to try. Give me the humility to see my own part in what went wrong, and the courage to reach out first if that's what's needed. Soften both our hearts, and if reconciliation is possible, show us the way to it. Amen.
