Family gatherings bring both joy and, sometimes, old tensions back to the surface. This prayer asks God to bless the time spent together and to soften whatever might get in the way of real connection.
Lord, bless this time together with those I love. Where there is distance, draw us closer; where there is old hurt, bring healing; where there is joy, let it overflow. Help us to be patient with one another, quick to listen, and slow to judge, so that our time together reflects your love. Amen.
